Keep An Thoi, Hon Thom and Sunset Town in one geographic cluster and avoid returning to central Phu Quoc between activities.

THE SHORT ANSWER
South Phu Quoc suits travellers who want a visually connected day of sea crossing, island recreation, sunset architecture and outdoor performance.
The return cable-car and show admission windows are fixed planning anchors; casual sightseeing should fit around them.
South Phu Quoc is easiest to understand as one long coastal sequence: An Thoi and the cable-car station, Hon Thom and Aquatopia, then Sunset Town, Kiss Bridge and evening performance. It can be a half-day, full day or day-to-night route, but it stops feeling relaxed when visitors return to central Phu Quoc between its connected parts.
AT A GLANCE
Decision guide
Start with geography
An Thoi is the operational hinge of the south. The cable-car journey departs here, while Sunset Town supplies the late-afternoon and evening layer. That proximity makes the south more coherent than a map of isolated attractions suggests.
Choose the fixed anchor first: cable-car service or show admission. Fit photographs, meals and free public-space exploration around it.
Three realistic versions
A half-day suits Sunset Town, the bridge area and one evening product. A full day suits Hon Thom and Aquatopia. A day-to-night version combines both, but needs an early start and two generous buffers.
Broader sightseeing can include other southern stops, but every additional stop reduces usable park time. Decide whether the day is attraction-led or sightseeing-led before buying.
For swimmers and non-swimmers
Water-confident groups gain more from Aquatopia combinations. Non-swimmers may value the over-sea view, architecture and evening atmosphere more than the slides.
Do not assume that scenic admission includes every marine activity or that public space includes every bridge or show. Named benefits matter.
Transport and weather buffers
Prearranged return transport is especially useful after a fixed evening performance. At busy times, pickup and parking can take longer than the road distance implies.
Outdoor operations may pause or change with weather. Keep support details available and do not independently cancel a dated product without checking the operator decision.

FAQ
Planning questions
Should I stay in the south after Hon Thom?+
Yes when your evening is in Sunset Town; it normally avoids an unnecessary central-island return.
Can non-swimmers enjoy the area?+
Yes. Compare scenic cable-car, town, bridge and show options rather than water-led combinations.
How many evening products should I book?+
Usually one fixed show plus flexible dining and photography is the comfortable approach.
Is transfer included?+
Only when the selected product explicitly names it.
What is the most common mistake?+
Arriving late for the cable car while still expecting a full park day and sunset evening.
Does rain guarantee a refund?+
No. Remedies follow the operator decision and product-specific rule.

Where your driver can drop you off
Reference effective from:
The newer transport sheet is effective 16 December 2025. Before 10:30 it directs all vehicles to the Tramonto escalator, without shuttle service. From 10:30 to 15:00 it uses Anh Duong Square, sometimes via Milan Street. From 15:00 to 21:00, 29–45-seat coaches use the foot-of-slope car park and shuttle; 4–16-seat vehicles can use Tramonto. After 21:00 it returns to Anh Duong Square and the shuttle stops.
Share your vehicle size and return time with the driver before the show. This is a traffic-access guide, not a promise of hotel transfers or attraction opening hours. Its special 17 December 2025 exception is historical, not a recurring rule. Recheck local road controls on the day; the operator hotline printed on the guide is 0886 045 888.

Check the cable-car timetable for your date
Reference effective from:
The operating-hours poster in the supplied folder is effective from 6 December 2024. It separates cable-car trips, Aquatopia, Exotica and beach hours. We do not treat it as a confirmed 2026 timetable. Ask for the dated operating notice before planning your outward trip, lunch or final return; a park closing time is not the same as the last cable-car departure.
